Heavy Duty 2.7L Clutch

I was told that the V6 clutch, pressure plate and pilot bearing will work in the 2.7L as long as you use the 2.7L release bearing.

I purchased a V6 Clutch, and pressure plate and attempted the modification.

It did NOT work! The spring assembly of the OEM V6 clutch is too deep for the 2.7L flywheel and holds the clutch surface away from the flywheel...
