Oh...someone mentioned that this event, organized by soaz (Tim), was as good or better than the TM cleanup. What Tim did in about 4 weeks was truely amazing

I know Bman and the CSC made a big contribution too....thanks to them and all the sponsors that contributed

The turnout was awesome from all the groups. Someone said the dumpster provided was 7 tons. The pile that formed after it was FULL could probably fill up two more of them. Awesome job to everyone.

x4!

soaz did a tremendous job pulling this together. We had 215 names on the sign in roster from Tucson to Payson to Prescott. We had all kinds of clubs represented too.

Well, it was a long day but an awesome one. The turn out for this event was incredible to say the least. Tim from AZTTORA did a fantastic job orgizing this event and the turn out of people and rigs was nothing short of amazing. There were 215 people signed in on the roster and there were lots more that did not sign, prolly 250 or better total and a guess at better than 100 rigs. There was 10 people from KreationKrawlers alone!!!

Major thanks also to the MCSO. The Sherriff's office was there in force and we had Hunter's MCSO buggy out to protect and serve again, and protect he did.....the shooters didn't listen to us but they had no backtalk when Hunter rolled up in the Buggy!!!! That was awesome man, major thanks to you and the MCSO as a whole!!!

There were a lot of groups sponsoring different things and I will forget some so I am not going into the list at all, Tim can do that if he wants!!! But
MAJOR thanks to all of them for their support.

Again, big thanks to AZTTORA for this event and mostly thank you to Tim for all his work and dedication to this effort!!!! E'nuf mushy, now the pics!!!!

It all started with the delay on the highway!!!

Hunter was there in force!!

Tons of trash were removed and great people were met.
THANK YOU!!

What a great day and I'm impressed at the turnout!

It's awesome to see so many people come together and make something like this happen. Tim, thanks for putting this together. My wife and 3 boys and I worked site 8, and just like you said in your blog, we stood there daunted as to where to start. We were with a large group of great folks and in the 3 hours we worked the site we could see it transforming everytime we walked back down with another empty bag.

My son Paxton even walked away with a great door prize...he found a brand new baseball still in it's wrapper!

As a side note...a blue Jeep Liberty tried to test the strength of my ARB bumper using his passenger door. Needless to say the bright red dented streak along the side of his door speaks for itself.

A couple pictures of my boys...

This was just after noon, and the dumpster was already full!

Great shots!! What were you taking pics with? They look clean and crisp!! I love the one of your son with the grabber arm. My buddy 1leglance would love that thing. He was dying from all of the bending over to pick up trash!
Thank you again for coming out.

Thank you for coming out! Great to see all the ladies out there cleaning with the guys!
My girl Danica ran the signup tent all day.
Thank you again. It was my first time organizing something like this. I appreciate all of the support!

My wife took those pics with her Nikon D40. Amazing camera. Someone lent my boys the grabber not more than 5 minutes after we got there. It worked out perfectly, because I didn't have enough gloves for everyone. The funny thing is he's wearing gloves in that pic. I think he might have commandeered it from his older brother. There were a couple tussles over who was using next.

Some more good ones

I took the one above before we headed out. Some quad dorks without shirts or helmets did about 20 donutes around the pile. I nearly blungened them with my 9mm. They talked about trying to ride over the trash...

I'm very very sad to say that "someone" I bet these tools, came back later that night and lit the pile of trash on fire. Not only did it occupy the Fire Department from more important issues, but it made a mess.
The FS is out there working hard with a back hoe to clean it up. Bless those guys. What a smelly mess to have to clean up. WTF is wrong with people...

On a happier note:
Tacoma shots just for you guys!!

Absolutley, Your hired!
In fact we are trying to get together with Tuscon Off Road to clean up Chiva Falls trail next month...Chiva is such a awesome trail, it is really sad what has happened to it.

It's the stupid f**kers who think dumping garbage, and shooting couches & hot water heaters and leaving em' at a trailhead is cool that give us all a bad name...

It was great to see such a positive response at the 4peaks clean up from the Sherrifs Department, as well as Forest Service guys when they seen what responsible land users can get together and do to make a difference. They are going to be much more likely to be involved in / donate resources to future actions after witnessing the success of 4 Peaks.

RIDICULOUS! It's pretty sad when not even trash piles are safe from vandals!
