that's because S2000's aren't made for drag racing.

indeed it is lol

still, 9 seconds on RADIALS is impressive. That car would go low 9's, MAYBE 8's on slicks.

And with that MPH, he'd probably go low 8's if he had a motor that made torque. Impressive car, though, it definitely hauls ass. Or did lol.

I think I have actually heard of people putting nissan rear diffs into the s2000's. They are a lot stronger, and I believe they have the same bolt flanges for the axles. I saw a turbo s2k on I70 the other day. I dont remember what color it was though!

BTW: The car is still a FULL street car

(a/c, p/s, heat, cruise control, leather, stereo, full interior. Weighs in over 3000lbs with driver)

Everyone needs torque!

Doubly impressive at full street weight. No big deal for another 1500lb tincan Honda to run times like that, but for a 3K+ pound car that's really very sweet.

Miner, if that turbo car was yellow, I might know the guy. I bought my 4Runner from him and sold him a rifle a year or so later.

That's a helluva wheelstand, but let me know when you find a Honduh that can do this.

767 horsies for that, and here is the website for it:

http://www.dragtimes.com/Honda-S2000...lip-10669.html

But it lists 0.00 for motor torque?? Still very impressive!

Do what, bend a link, and dog track all the way down the track? lol

Keep in mind, the s2k pulled a wheel stand with independent rear suspension

When you make that much power, it's hard to get a 100% accurate reading on torque due to wheel spin on the dyno. Which might be why it's not listed? I dunno

that car looks nuts, in all seriousness. i'd drive the hell out of it! have you seen any of those S2000s with 2JZGTE's in them? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DV08SE-zV7A

looked at the dyno graph, i really wish they showed rpms on the x-axis. wonder what it revs to...

I bet my 3rd is going to look like that judging by the way the way everything else looks and the way it sounds when pushing the truck around.

like this one?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_ATrP9GAtE

Kicking out sideways all the way down the track on slicks, time for more weight over the rear end lol

Neither does the Mustang.

And hahahaha it takes a Toyota powerplant to make a Honduh go really fast.
