Default TEXAS STAMPEDE... Hidden Falls, Jan 15th-17th

TEXAS STAMPEDE

HIDDEN FALLS ADVENTURE PARK

Jan. 15th-17th, 2010
http://www.hiddenfallsadventurepark.com/

This will be an open event for all families and their rigs
Join in for some good ole Texas wheeling.

Signup : http://www.yotaranch.com/texas-stampede !!
.

Hidden Falls Park is a fun place to be; it's filled with outdoor diversity spread on over 2800 acres. While there, you can participate in paint-ball, horseback, hiking, biking, shooting, and our favorite wheeling. Join us for a diversity of trails from mild to wild.

Fees (LINK) will only be the park fees; just take care of your own entry fee and your set. There are rv and powered/water camping hook ups for addition fees (LINK).

We don't plan to set up shirts or raffles for this run. We plan for this to be a WHEELING FUN RUN, but yet still keep tradition going.

For you that is not too familiar with the place and would still like to join us; this is the perfect time to do it. Trail leaders and trail gunners usually are the most experienced trial riders or most familiar with the park and are willing to show you the ropes. Join us, let's have us some fun!

Please Keep this thread on topic, non essential posts will be deleted

Looks like this event is open to all makes and models, so I'm sure your little jeep is more than welcome.

isnt this event going to overlap the jamboree? wouldnt it be wiser to schedule this event later in the spring to avoid such a conflict? the jamboree after all is an event to benefit tmtc, which therefore benefits all wheelers including us and we wouldnt want to take away from that. i think this event could be much more successful being scheduled a couple of months later to fill the void left by katemcy and the roundup being shut down and it would also round out the year more nicely with jambo in the winter, formerly roundup now stampede in the spring, tx takeover in the summer, and halloween run in the fall. thoughts?

This is not a TXTTORA hosted event. Just a new event that has been scheduled in a park that I have never been to before. Sounds like it's just an open event for all makes and models that I, for one, plan to attend.

Well it sounds to me like a TXTTORA event. But I am with Purity on this one, I think that TXTTORA should hold this kind of event in the spring to take the place of RoundUp so it can give a venue for all the Toyota folks looking for an event to wheel, AND all other makes and models of vehicles. Could be a really big awesome event, I would definitely go to that. As of now I can't go to Jambo or this but it would be nice to have a spring event...

You can think what you want, but TXTTORA is not hosting this event...but it looks as if there are some TXTTORA members that are interested in attending either event. From what I have been told, that's the date it has been scheduled for. I guess at this point it's a matter of making up your mind on which event to goto. I'm choosing to goto a new park I've never been to before.

Hey, let's keep this thread on track of it's intentions...that being letting people know that this event is out there if you want to attend. No need in any squabbles.

Just curious, who is hosting this event? The park or another club?
