First Its all personal taste so dont get offended.

Personally I dont really like it, maybe without the toyota word accross it I think it would look cool.

Looks alright, with or without the Toyota across it. My choice would be olive green/black or olive green/brown

The paint looks really good, but the spelled out toyota emblem makes the original emblem look weird. Personally I think the spelled out emblem needs to go. Otherwise, the paint and everything looks good. I'd like to see a pic of it actually on the truck.

The whole grill black looks nice. I only did the emblem to mine. I think you just inspired me to do it. Did you sand it down first before you started spraying?

thans man..and no i didn't sand it down at all i just put several coats on it, i think like 3 or 4. I did have to sand a little spot down where the paint ran so it would look all even and that was it. And no i didn't do anything to the headlights but man yours looks good!!

My mall crawler

Did mine Sunday. Had some flat black spray paint left over from previous paint jobs. Ran out towards the end while putting on my 4th layer. Can see some light spots on top center.
[IMG][/IMG]

A friend suggested I do it when I painted my emblems but wasn't sure how it would like til this thread came. Looks better IMO.

Did mine awhile ago, also did the gay little chrome pieces on the bumper and since I did the blinker mod also blacked out the signal lens' on the bottom.

looks good! I like the paintwork on the emblem. I think the black headlight mod would make it look even better though
