Thumbs up IPT Performane Transmissions

I want to let everyone know about the incredible Customer Service I received from John at IPT. I made a mistake that they had every right to charge me another $500 for, but they didn't. If you are considering getting your Valve Body upgraded I highly reccommend IPT Performance Transmissions.

The Story
...I bought a spare Valve Body off of a guy on here on the TTORA board - it was from a 1999 3.4L A/T. I have a 2000 3.4L A/T. Silly me - I just assumed it was the same transmission and therefore the same valve body. So without verifying, I sent the '99 valve body off to IPT to get the upgrade so I could just swap out valve bodies and not have my truck be down for 3 days.
The valve body I bought came out of a tranny that had an exploded OD Planetary.
I got a phone call from John @ IPT and he asked if my transmission was acting okay, b/c he had some bad news. He could tell just by looking at the VB that the OD Planetary had exploded (that's how good this guy is!). I told him that he was exactly right, but that VB had not come from my truck. He then questioned if I was sure I had the right VB, b/c Toyota switched transmissions in mid 2000, so it might not be the correct valve body. He decided that he would go ahead and do the upgrade and we'd keep our fingers crossed, but to call him if I had any problems when I got the VB back.
When I got the VB back I went out, dropped my tranny pan and started to do the swap. Just for good measure, before I unbolted and removed my VB, I held the other one up to make sure they were the same. They were not. They were very, VERY similar, but just different enough to not be compatible. I immediately called IPT, and John simply said "Well - you better get your Valve Body on its way to us." I told him that I'd have to wait until I could sell the upgraded valve body b/c I didn't want to lose another $600. He told me just to send him both valve bodies and he would "take care of it". So he kept the upgraded '99 VB, and upgraded my 2000 VB at no charge. I just installed it last night. It kicks ass! I had to eat about $150 in shipping costs due to my mistake, but other than that, thanks to the great guys at IPT, the whole thing was only a minor inconvenience.
