maybe it's just me or maybe the slant in the drive way, but the front end looks really high, almost like a lift spindle. either way truck is looking bad ass. nice work!

very nice looking truck.
At the moment - no. I do rub on the UCA and, now that I have checked, the LCA as well. I am looking into spacers but for the time being, I need to spend the money elsewhere.

Thanks, I think the truck is finally where I want it (for a while anyways...)

Thanks - it's certainly good times, but, as I have learned the ability to air down to nothing (~ 6 psi) is crucial. Just not happening on the stockers.

The springs are great - certainly help with the ride in supporting the big bumper and most recently, a new winch. Since the sway-bar is gone I have certainly found there is less body roll in corners or changing lanes at high speeds. Shocks could use some work but hey, I know they're nothing special.

I didn't really take note of the collar setting once some friends and I tore into the spring removal - I figured it was all going to sag a bit anyways. And it did, about 1/2" on each side. It was a bit of a struggle getting them in and so I went a little higher than I thought I needed too. It has worked to my advantage as I am in the process of dropping the now settled front end to get the height where i want it (low enough not to rub the CV boots). Running the spring preload down is MUCH easier heading down than up (at least with Toytec CO's).

Heres a couple pics of mine:
No sway bar= a decent amount of flex out of IFS. I managed to bash my rear bumper in a creek bed a little later the day this pic was taken.

I got in on the Allpro GB and finally got my rear bumper last week. Now im just waiting on the side wraps and in the mean time I need to remove that spare, and hack the exhaust for clearance still.

My '05 Tacoma with the TRD Off Road package, 6 spd., BFG 275 A/T's, and a 2 inch suspension lift installed (last Friday, Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks in front, aal's in rear). Rides great, feels more like truck.

Haven't been on here much lately, been trying to get some sliders, but Machinefab doesnt seem to want to do them.

I had to get outta town or I was gonna go crazy so I hit a few side trails in the Knoxville public lands. Hope you guys like.

Heres an insane climb I probably shouldnt of gone down in the first place.

Barely making it up, after a few dangerous failures. And I now realize I need some new tires also, becase these are about gone.

Had a little fun with this guy during lunch.

just out of curiosity where do you guys select low range from since you dont have a shift lever on the floor like my hilux does?

Im assuming its a dial switch somewhere......

Correct - it's the black dial switch to the right of the steering wheel, under the AC vent. You can go to 4 high on the run, or stop and go to N, then switch to 4 low.

And our steering wheel's in the wrong place ...

They have been recalled you know.

I am surprised how clean his truck interior is with all the miles he has. Granted it has Diet Pepsi everywhere but not to shabby.

Ok, as of last week I deserted the Early Tacoma side of things and moved on over here to the Late Model section.... I got such a stupendous deal on this '09, that I let my baby, the '96 (with ONLY 134,000 miles) go to another deserving soul <sniff>. Here's the '09, with TRD Sports package... all black with white pinstripe. No time for any mods yet, it's too new.

... and another pic, this time the rather clean and new interior...

We all know what a new truck looks like. Whats up with all the pics lateley. Show us a new mod that hasn't been done or some decent wheeling pictures at least.

Not all of us are flaming you. I was bursting at the seams when I got my '06 and I wouldn't want to rain on your parade. Congrats!
Also, that's a nice looking house and garage! Making aerospace wages and being free of debt I still can't afford a real home!

Hey, somebody recognized it... It's a 1969 MGB, full restoration. Every nut, bolt, washer and screw has been painted, plated, replaced or powder coated. From the diff to the engine, everything is basically "new" 1969. I replaced the body shell with a new one from British Motor Heritage in the UK. New leather inside, etc. It drives just like a '69, because it is... and yep, it's kind of slow, but with the top down, it feels fast. In its day it was an inexpensive sports car, but fun. Now its fun and more expensive.

If anyone is interested in seeing pics of it, go here and you can see the restoration, from a rusty pile of bolts to the way it is now. Be sure and check out the "finished pictures" section. http://www.hotelling.com/mgb3.htm

Isn't that the truth Lot's of guys may have more modded trucks, but many of them are sitting in driveways of tiny houses or row homes(so we know where the $$ go. That's a nice looking home, and it's actually the first I thing I noticed even before the truck

Nice truck, btw.
