it looks like i want gl4? what is dino oil?

i just want to be able to shift it without having to ram it into gears and without having to warm it up for 1/2 hour.
Dino oil = dinosaur oil = not sythenically made.. just plain old oil.

A blend is a combination of dino and synthetic.

And fully synthetic... well that's self explanatory.

I just put some castrol syntec gear lube in mine, i will update in a bit and when it starts getting cold. So far it feels the same as before i changed the fluid. The old fluid i what im assuming is the factory fluid, it was blackish/grey and thin.

i changed out mine today with redline 75w90 gl4. after 5 minutes of driving it was really easy to shift. seems to be good now.

fyi i had quaker state 75w90 gl5 in it until a month ago which really sucked when it started getting a little colder outside.

i then changed to castrol 75w90 gl5 which was worse.

the gl4 seems to be the one to go with.
