Has anyone ever used C FOAM to clean their mudflaps. I have ripped mine off a gazillion times and noticed that they are really dirty. Before the re-installation I would like to make sure they are clean and efficient.:confused:

Looking for a functional, used and/or cheap e-brake cable for my 87 4Runner. I believe its the #1 cable (goes from interior handle to rear splitter); also called the front cable.

Let me know if you've got one or know of a good source to find one.

Less than 1,000 miles on these tires, used for two dirt road events last summer. These tires have excellent traction in braking, cornering and acceleration. They balanced easily with almost no weight and ran very smooth during highway runs to my events. Noise is very reasonable for such an aggressive tire. They are simply too big/heavy for my suspension set-up. These are $1,200 new. I'm asking for $800.

Summer is finally here, and the trails are opened up. While we lost many routes in the Eldo, I still want to head out and do some wheeling!

Where: Eagle Lakes Day/Evening Time; Signal Peak at night!
When: July 16-17
What time?: TDB

A background on the trails:

Eagle Lakes
Is a relatively easy trail with a bypass on the technical section. A rig with a 3" lift and sliders should have no problem with this trail.

Signal Peak (Night Run)
This year we will not get lost. We will head up from Eagle lakes to the top of Signal Peak at night for a breathtaking view. Relatively easy trail, however, Rocklights are highly recommended as we will doing this run in the pitch dark.

I've got a couple of questions
First, how the hell did that happen?

Second, I found a used 2wd w59 transmission for $200 (being a full time student this is within my budget, barely). now Im 99% sure that I can swap the transfer adaptor from my transmission onto the 2wd transmission.

Has anyone successfully done this before?

Also does anyone know if the 4wd drive train will bolt up to the 2wd transmission? If so, I was thinking this would be the perfect time to rebuild the transfer case.

Or is there anyone in central california with a 4wd W59 they'd be willing to part with for under $300?
